A fantasy hockey waiver watch is an article about who’s available and what the best time to pick them up.

The “nfl fantasy” is a website that allows users to keep track of their waiver wire. The site also provides news, articles and other information on the nfl.

So. Players have been cycling in and out of COVID-19 procedure as the league postpones games on short notice, frequently within hours. To be fair, it’s been a difficult (though still logically run) period for players, staff, fans, and fantasy managers alike. However, the league looks to be set to resume play after a lengthy Christmas break, with three games scheduled for Tuesday. As a result, managers are once again forced to compete with whomever is available and active, as well as a few good replacements.

This is where having a few IR places in play comes in in, because no sane fantasy player would trade a consistent performer for a few flimsy points. In reality, even if the league is in process, your league manager has the authority to add IR places if you’re in a custom league.

In that vein, as we all traverse this turbulent time together, here are a few lesser-known players that might help your fantasy team stay competitive in the long or (very) short term.

Alex Tuch, RW, Buffalo Sabres (492.2% of ESPN.com leagues): The Sabres’ newest member is officially “ready to go” five months after having shoulder surgery. Not mine, but Coach Don Granato’s. And it couldn’t come at a better time for a squad that is now placed 24th in the league with 2.67 goals per game. To begin, the former Golden Knights player is expected to join Tage Thompson on Buffalo’s top line, as well as Victor Olofsson on the team’s No. 1 power play. The (still just) 25-year-old is now allowed to show off his scoring abilities in a more prominent position now that he is no longer under the shadow of other top Vegas skaters. Tuch’s days of averaging 16 minutes per game are long gone. In all fantasy leagues with a respectable depth, the first-round draft pick should be fought for. This week, the Sabres will play the Devils, Islanders, and Bruins.

LW/RW Anthony Duclair (39.5%), Florida Panthers: He’s back and expected to play alongside Aleksander Barkov on the Panthers’ top line (also returning from injury). Duclair had a strong start to the season, scoring nine goals and eight assists in 19 games before sustaining a lower-body injury. The winger should be totally healthy after a recent pair of warm-up games (when Barkov was still out) and the resulting additional rest. Take him in your arms.

Kevin Hayes of the Philadelphia Flyers (8.6%): First and foremost, he has been released from the NHL’s Covid protocol and is eligible to play in the Flyers’ next west-coast trip, which begins on Wednesday (should that game against the Seattle Kraken indeed go ahead). In light of other skaters’ Covid-related ineligibility, there’s also his present job as top-line center to consider (ie. Sean Couturier). But, even if nothing else is going on right now, I like Hayes as a fantasy spark plug who can rack up scores in bunches. After a poor, injury-plagued start to the season, the 29-year-old center has value in deeper fantasy teams when he’s on fire. The Flyers, for one, will be counting on him to be at his most productive right now.

1617223579_849_1-31-poll-plus-the-biggest-concern-for-every-team

LW Conor Sheary of the Washington Capitals (5.0%): A five-game scoring run with two goals and four assists is difficult to disagree with. Especially now that Sheary is back on a line alongside Nicklas Backstrom, who has missed two games since his season start (COVID-19). If necessary, put one of your injured players on IR and add the Capitals winger for a fantasy boost (if not a long one.)

1617223587_984_1-31-poll-plus-the-biggest-concern-for-every-team

LW Warren Foegele of the Edmonton Oilers (0.8%): The former Hurricane is now paired with Connor McDavid on an Edmonton scoring line. As it was in a couple of games leading up to the break, in which the 25-year-old winger scored three goals in total. As long as Foegele keeps his desired place for Wednesday’s game against the Blues – and he practiced with McDavid on Tuesday – he’ll be an appealing choice to add to your own depleted team. Alternatively, as an out-of-the-box Daily Fantasy asset.

1617223588_525_1-31-poll-plus-the-biggest-concern-for-every-team

Erik Haula (0.4 percent), Boston Bruins, LW/C: In 76 games with the Golden Knights, Haula has 29 goals and 26 assists. It occurred in 2017-18, mind you, but it happened nevertheless. Let’s see how the seasoned forward reacts to his new opportunity to center a Bruins scoring line with Taylor Hall and Craig Smith. Until Charlie Coyle (COVID-19 protocol) returns, Haula seems to be an exciting streaming/DFS alternative. The Bruins don’t play again until New Year’s Day, when they face the Sabres. Keep an eye on Haula/situation Coyle’s then.

Also consider: Adrian Kempe, C/RW, Los Angeles Kings (47.7%); Max Domi, C/RW, Columbus Blue Jackets (8.1%); Taylor Raddysh, RW, Tampa Bay Lightning (8.1%). (1.9 percent )

Defenders

Minnesota Wild’s Jonas Brodin (33.4 percent): He won’t be out indefinitely due to the NHL’s COVID-19 process, and once cleared, he should be able to return to blocking shots and shooting pucks in the goal with ease. Brodin’s production has also increased recently, with seven points in his last ten games. Since Nov. 24, the minute-eating defender has averaged 2.3 fantasy points per game and should be included in more than a third of ESPN.com fantasy tournaments.

Every night throughout the season, Barry Melrose and Linda Cohn will provide a postgame analysis and highlight program. ESPN+ is the place to be.

Also see Zach Whitecloud of the Vegas Golden Knights (25.1 percent )

Goaltenders

1617223594_215_1-31-poll-plus-the-biggest-concern-for-every-team

Martin Jones (4.6 percent), Philadelphia Flyers: With Carter Hart (COVID-19 protocol) out for at least four games, the Flyers’ backup suddenly seems to be in charge of the crease. Jones will most likely face the Kraken, Sharks, Kings, and Ducks on the club’s forthcoming west-coast road trip. When given the opportunity this season, the former Shark has mostly performed well. Jones vows to at least serve as an active goaltender body if you need one. Maybe see how the 31-year-old does in Seattle, then compare him to his previous team, and go from there.

Fantasy-hockey-season-preview-Guide-to-centers

Tampa Bay Lightning’s Maxime Lagace (0.3 percent): Were you aware that in 2020-21, Lagace started one game for the Penguins and then went on to toss a 29-save shutout against the Sabres? Personally, I had entirely forgotten about the excursion. On Tuesday evening, the 28-year-old minor league journeyman will have another chance at perfection when he faces an already-bad Canadiens squad that has been completely destroyed by COVID-19. I’m not sure nothing says “Daily Fantasy treasure” more than that. Of sure, as long as the game continues.
