Are you putting money down for a deposit on an apartment in London?
Why not put your money where your mouth is and purchase a house outright?
That may seem to be a pipe dream, but it is very achievable. All you’d have to do is be willing to migrate… hope that you will not be scared off by somewhat eerie interiors.
A one-bedroom apartment in Kilmacolm, Scotland, is up for sale for only £6,000.
The property is advertised as a “unique” chance to purchase in the “affluent community of Kilmacolm,” close to quaint coffee shops and a golf club.

It’s only when you arrive at this apartment that things start to seem a little… strange.
For starters, this apartment is located in the basement. That’s right, it’s below ground level. We’ve all seen enough horror movies to know that you should never, ever, ever live in a basement.
If that wasn’t frightening enough, wait till you see the photos, which have a definite murderous tinge about them.

Although the home is empty and in in need of repair, there are two chairs in one of the rooms, facing the wall and surrounded by debris.
A large tarpaulin also covers the floor in this area. Mysterious.
A little recess in the wall may be seen in another spot. Who knows what horrors could be lurking within.
There seem to be several huge pieces of wood falling from the ceiling, one of which is completely on the ground, as well as some loose cables.

All of this is seen on the video tour, along with some heavy breathing from the videographer. Fun!
The flat is being sold by Future Property Auctions, who describe it as a ‘perfect opportunity for a developer,’ pointing out that the building has a number of services and that recent sales in the area have gone for £118,000, implying that the completed development value of this place could be over £100,000.

However, you’d have to spend a lot of money to renovate the property, so it’s not exactly the bargain you may think.
